SeaWhisper PCs are designed to occupy the smallest possible volume and consume minimal power for their processing capacity. Their footprint is governed by the 170mm x 170mm MiniITX motherboard we use while the height is dependant on the dimensions of the 2.5inch hard drive unit that is attached to the inside of the rear face of the unit. We have extensively tested both the 1.5GHz and 2.0GHz units and they work well with programmes such as PC Plotter and are also excellent for accessing the internet and managing email messages. The new Jetway 1.5 GHz board that we are using has a very low power requirement - its processor has a maximum requirement of only 12W.

This little keyboard and mouse are ideal for use on boats. They keyboard is easy to use it is also light and takes up minimum space in the chart table. It is designed for low power consumption to give good battery life.
