The AIS-2-NMEA is a Dual Channel Parallel synthesized AIS receiver from Comar Systems which is designed specifically for the Leisure Marine, Fishing Boat and Vessel Monitoring market. The output of the unit is 38,400 baud.  This is a high quality, robust two channel parallel receiver that is competitively priced that can be used with chartplotters or PCs.

Connected to a compatible dedicated marine Chart Plotter, the information can be displayed on screen giving the skipper or harbour authority a visual interpretation of the name, position, course and speed of vessels within VHF range. This information is updated every 3 seconds to 6 minutes depending on speed and rate of turn, enabling the track of the vessels in range to be plotted.
