The Repeatit Hotspot Booster 11N allowsfor distances between computer and accesspoint of several kilometres. This should becompared to ordinary USB donglesthatonly admit distances of 10–100 metres. Theinstallation procedure is very simple: connectthe USB cable to the computer, run the installation program and the user is online.
By using advanced antenna technology andan integrated solution for the electronics in an outdoor proof casing, the excellent radio performance is achieved. This also eliminates all possible problems caused by pigtails and other accessories. The distance between the Booster and computer can be increased by the use of active USB extenders.
Easy to Install
Since all electronics and the antenna is integrated in one casing, all that remains to be handled by the user is one unit to place either indoor or outdoor. The Hotspot Booster 11N has been designed for easy installation. The attached antenna holder can be used to mount the antenna on an pole or wall. The Hotspot Booster 11N is fully compatible with other 2.4 GHz IEEE802.11b/g/n WiFi-products.
